The county is to have a rare thing, a murder trial. On Oct 4 Edison W. BRATTON says he found Harlow FORD in his corn field and thinking him to be a thief, fired on him six times with a pistol inflicting wounds that resulted in death. The grand jury returned a verdict of voluntary murder against Bratton. -- kbz
